This January you will have the chance to find out more about these rare and elusive creatures in our free, family-friendly talk called ‘Meet the Pine Martens’.
You will hear from our experts at Vincent Wildlife Trust – Lizzie Croose and Dr Stephanie Johnstone – who will delve into the lives of these magnificent creatures.
We have specifically put this talk together to appeal to families with children, young adults, and anyone wanting to discover more about conservation, nature recovery and our native wildlife.
You will find out more about the history of pine martens, why they almost became extinct in Britain, and the ongoing work needed to save them. Lizzie and Stephanie will cover all sorts of aspects of pine marten life, from where they live to why they need our help. There will also be lots of opportunities to learn and ask questions, so if you’ve ever wondered what pine martens eat, or how many offspring (called ‘kits’) they have, now is the time to find out!
We will be streaming the talk on this web page via the video below.
We do hope you can join us!
