14th January 2025

Fifty Years of Vincent Wildlife Trust

Vincent Wildlife Trust is celebrating 50 Years of Innovative Mammal Conservation throughout 2025!

From otters and horseshoe bats to barbastelles and European mink, VWT has underpinned its work during the last 50 years with rigorous and sound scientific research… using it to inform its practical conservation actions to conserve threatened mammals in Britain, Ireland and mainland Europe.

As part of this year’s celebrations, we will be offering a variety of events, walks, talks and webinars to share our work and our experiences. We’ll also be launching two new websites and producing a series of blogs from past and current staff, Trustees and volunteers to celebrate past achievements and look to future plans and partnerships to increase our impact in mammal conservation.

Read the first blog by VWT’s CEO, Dr Lucy Rogers.
